Recognised dental practitioner qualifications

The Dental Board of Australia considers the following list of qualifications to be substantially equivalent to an approved qualification for general registration as a dental practitioner.

Practitioners who hold one of these qualifications and who also meet the Board’s registration standards may apply for general registration as a dental practitioner. Dental therapists, dental hygienists, and oral health therapists can refer to the FAQ to determine which division is most appropriate for them.
