Call for applications - appointment to national committees of the Dental Board of Australia

Contribute to the regulation of dental practitioners in Australia!

Applications are sought from experienced registered dental practitioners and members of the community for appointment to its following national committees:

• Immediate Action Committee
• Notification Committee Assessment
• Notification and Compliance Committee, and
• Registration and Compliance Committee.

The committees are established to review, assess and make decisions on notification matters (complaints) and applications for registration.

The National Boards and Ahpra have an important role in ensuring the development of a culturally safe and respectful health workforce that is responsive to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples health and contributes to the elimination of racism in the provision of health services.

To achieve this, we have committed to increasing Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander leadership and voices on Boards and committees and warmly invite Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples to apply. If you are an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person and would like to discuss the opportunities, please contact Dr Stephen Corporal, Senior Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Engagement Officer, Statutory appointments via email to mobvoices@ahpra.gov.au.
