Dental practitioners invited to complete social research survey

16 Dec 2022

Dental practitioners are being invited to share their thoughts on how the profession is regulated.

A 10-minute survey released today has been sent to a random sample of dental practitioners and is open until 5.00pm (AEDT) Friday, 30 December 2022.

This is the fourth year that the Dental Board of Australia (the Board) has contacted dental practitioners, inviting them to provide feedback to help the Board and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency better understand what practitioners think about us, particularly in the areas of understanding, confidence and trust.

Insights gained from this social research project are used to better understand how registered dental practitioners view what we do and to inform how we can improve our engagement with the profession.

Results from the 2021 survey of dental practitioners will be published in early 2023. While working with targeted stakeholders this year, Ahpra and the National Boards have been investigating other forms of data collection to gain improved insights and feedback.

Previous years’ survey results are available in news items under the News tab of the Board’s website.
